Shimmer Polish - Julie, Jenny, & Trisha

Hey guys! It's Shimmy Shimmer swatch time!!
Hope you're not tired of them yet, because I'm sure not.

Holy poop, have I got some good ones for you today. The first one in particular, ahhhh, just wait.

As I've said in my previous posts, Shimmer Polishes are very complex and full of so much fun glitter.
The formulas are wonderful, glitter-packed without being gloopy, and they can be worn layered or built up on their own.

Swatchie time.

Shimmer Polish - Julie (over OPI - You're Such A Budapest)
I've just died and gone to glitter heaven. For real. I don't even know what to say about this polish besides I lalalove it and want to put it over everything.

Shimmer Polish - Jenny (over China Glaze - Fancy Pants)
Another major, major winner. I could stare at the glitters for ages! The blues and purples are so nice, and then all the other colors... I just love how there are so many different glitters in each polish, they're so interesting and fun and sparkly. Again, I've got no more words. Just let the pictures do the talking.

Shimmer Polish - Trisha (over Color Club - In Theory)
This one isn't on my list of favorites due to me not being an orange fan, but despite that, it's still gorgeous! I really like the teeny tiny silver glitter, and the blues and pinks go nice with the overall orange tone. Orange fans should definitely check this one out.

Animeniac Cosmetics swatch spam!

Hey guys! Happy Monday. I've got some more glitters for ya. Surprised? Nah, didn't think so.

Animeniac Cosmetics is a line of indie polishes, influenced by anime, manga, comics, gaming, and sci-fi. Something for the nerd in all of us! They sent me four polishes to try out (including an early exclusive!) and I'm happy to be sharing them with you today!

Animeniac polishes are free of formaldehyde, toluene, and dibutyl phthalate, and only use ingredients that have never been tested on animals.

Animeniac Cosmetics - S.H.I.P (over Color Club - Bright Night)
This is from the Anime Fandom collection. It's a clear base with lots of pretty pastel-colored glitters in different shapes and sizes. A really nice mix! This is two thin coats, the glitter is a good density and spreads easily. I really like this one!

Animeniac Cosmetics - Late Night Reading (over Color Club - Evolution)
This is from the Status Update collection. Different shapes and sizes of blue glitter, some white glitter, and cute silver holo moons! I don't have any other polishes with moon glitter, so I like these a lot. I did have to fish for them to come out, but not too much.
Shown is two coats of glitter (plus fishing for the moons.) Cute!

Animeniac Cosmetics - Jolted (over Color Club - Abyss)
This one is from the High Voltage Gaming collection. Different sizes of gold glitter including big holo hexes that really sparkle! This is one coat, plus I fished out a couple big glitters to fill some gaps.

Animeniac Cosmetics - Chibi (over Color Club - Endless)
This is currently a Rebecca Likes Nails exclusive! Haha! This polish is not yet released, it will be a part of the spring collection. Squares and hexes in nice pastel shades. And this is just one coat! Totally glitter packed. This one is my favorite!! It's so pretty, especially over the pink. However I'm pretty sure it would be nice over anything.
I was playing around with the white balance on my camera and got this cool shot of the polish:

Love it!

Color Club Kaleidoscope Collection

Heeeeeey everyone! Exciting post today, a brand new collection from Color Club!

This is the new summer collection, Kaleidoscope. I found this set at Winners for just $9.99! It was just released so I was really surprised to find it there already! Score.
There are some seriously awesome polishes in this set, so scroll on for the swatches!

Color Club - Evolution
This is a nice & bright sky blue creme. The formula is not amazing but not bad. Three coats. I think it is a bit more vibrant than other similar blues I have.

Color Club - In Theory
This is a great orange/peach/coral shade. I did two coats for my swatch, which was opaque in person, but the photos show streaks. The formula was nice, super glossy! This is just the right shade of orange for me, I think.

Color Club - Endless
My Hello Kitty pajama pants made it into the first shot... Hehe. I thought it was cute. This is a nice light pink creme, nothing original about it, but it's cute and the formula is nice - 2 coats, super glossy.

Color Club - Abyss
Hot damn, I love this one! A gorgeous, rich, blue-toned green. The formula is great too, super pigmented, and needs just two thin coats. It does dry a little flat, so you'll want topcoat with this one. I love it! A+.

Color Club - Bright Night
Another big winner! This is blue polish perfection. Super pigmented, great formula, covers in two thin coats. It is a touch less vibrant than it appears in the photos. This one also dries a bit flat so adding topcoat would make it really shine.
I wore this for 24 hours, without basecoat, and had absolutely NO staining! Didn't even stain my skin upon removal. Doesn't get better than that.

Color Club - Pearl-spective (over Bright Night)
This is a great shimmery topcoat. It's got large shimmer particles that flash pink, and in some lights it flashes orange and green. It was really hard to capture, but the pink shimmer is really strong. It looks so good over the blue, and it would probably look great over anything!

Overall, I am totally impressed with this collection from Color Club! If you spot this collection, definitely pick it up! You won't be disappointed.
The blue and green are fantastic, the shimmer is gorgeous, and the other cremes are lovely too. No complaints!

China Glaze - Fancy Pants & Keep Calm, Paint On

Crap... I meant to schedule this post for Tuesday... But then I mistakenly scheduled it for last Tuesday, and apparently, Blogger doesn't let you time travel for posts, so I guess you're getting two posts tonight.

In this post I'll be showing you my picks from the China Glaze Avant Garden Collection!
However... I only picked up two. Haha! There were a few more I kinda wanted but I am trying to be selective with my purchases.

Here are the two I felt I couldn't pass up:

China Glaze - Fancy Pants
Fancy Pants is a lovely indigo blue, with great pinky-purple shimmer. Formula is awesome, it covers in 2 coats. Dries really quick too!
Some people have an aversion to blue polish, and I'll never understand why. I love having blue nails!

China Glaze - Keep Calm, Paint On
This one I bought both for the color and the name. I have a thing for "Keep Calm and Carry On" posters and other stuff, so of course I need a polish that is playing off of that. Plus, it's a great color! Mint green with pearly white shimmer? Sign me up.
Formula on this one is a bit thin, you'll likely want three coats, but it dries swiftly.

If you want to see swatches of the rest of the collection, check out my pal Carly's post.
