Zoya Gossip Collection

Morning everyone! Today I'm going to show you half of the Zoya Gossip Collection.
This collection is from summer 2008 I believe, so a lot of you may not have heard of it!
I fell in love with some of the colors so I decided to order three of them (and I might get the other three, too!)

The Gossip collection was named after the girls from MTV's Laguna Beach/The Hills.
I watched quite a bit of The Hills but not so much Laguna Beach, so one of the names is not famillar to me. Who is Elodie?
The other polishes are Lo, Audrina, Whitney, LC, and Heidi.

Let's see these cute colors!

Zoya - Lo
Lo was my favorite person on the show and she is also my favorite polish!
Lo is a hot pink, borderline neon, somewhat-coral-in-some-lights, 2 coat creme.
I adore this color and I can't wait to wear it in the summer!

Zoya - Audrina
This is such a cute color. Purpley-pink creme, really fun and bright. You can see some nail line in the photos but that is not visible in person. I love this color, I wore it earlier this week!

Zoya - Elodie
Elodie wanted to look way more neon in pictures than she actually is. It's a bright coral-toned orange creme, I can't remember if this was 2 or 3 coats.
I'm not generally an orange fan but this one is just coral enough that I like it. I never like this type of color when I first put it on, but after a few minutes I grow to like it.

Formula was great on all of these, as I have come to expect from Zoya.
LC, Whitney and Heidi might make their way into my collection soon.
(I don't really want Heidi but surely I can't just have 5/6.)

Do you guys have any of the Gossip Collection? I think they are worth checking out!

China Glaze OMG Collection - Part 2: 2BKEWL - swatches and review

Finally, it's time for me to show you the second half of the China Glaze OMG Collection!

I don't have the box for 2BKEWL which makes my polish-OCD sad, because I do have the box for the first half of the collection, 2BHOT, which I swatched here.
If I had the box it would look like this:

Whomp whomp!
I don't really care too much because I have all the polishes now, and that's what really matters!
2BKEWL has the best colors, in my opinion.  Definitely the better half. (Hence why it took me so long to find all six of these pretties - they are the hardest to find and the most expensive!)

My swatches for this half of the collection are so much better than the last half. I should re-swatch the other ones because I've found the best holo-lighting. Maybe someday!

This post is super picture-heavy so I'm going to put the bulk of the post after the jump.
Are you ready to see these 6 beautiful polishes?

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms - Ruby Diamond

Hey everyone!
Before I start this post I want to mention that my posting may get more sporadic again because I'm back in school for the semester and the work is piling up now - I probably won't get an opportunity to post each and every day.
But as always I will try my best to get posts up as often as possible.

So for today, before I (reluctantly) head off to class (in the snow,) I'm going to show you a Sally Hansen Nail Prism that I got recently.

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms - Ruby Diamond
This is a hot hot pink holographic polish with a great 2-coat formula. Too bad Sally doesn't make 'em like this anymore!
I think this one is very similar to OPI DS Exclusive, they're both super bright and saturated pink.

These beauties are somewhat hard to find nowadays, but you can get them for a decent price on eBay usually. Or if you're lucky, your friend will magically find a massive box full of them and sell some to you and your other friends. (Thanks Hayley!)

Do you have any Nail Prisms? Do you remember when they were actually in stores?
(I remember... I even bought one. But of course I bought probably the least interesting of all. Sigh...)

And I made two frankens for myself which I can't reveal because I made matching bottles for special people and I want them to be a surprise!

I've been a very bad girl. Very bad. (You should see the clothes I got this month, too.)
In my defense I bought all the Zoya's in December but they came this month.

Also in my defense, I purged a whole bunch of old crappy polish from my childhood that I didn't want to part with until now. I probably got rid of 20 bottles.
As well I brought 12 of my Nail Art Diva polishes to my job to use them there so technically they aren't in my stash anymore. (Yes, I work as a nail tech now, which I haven't mentioned before, but I have the best job in the world!)

I brought a lot in, but I took a lot out. I'm okay with this.

(Now I have to save though, because I'm heading to Toronto and New York in April! I need to be a good girl until then so I can spend oodles of money on polish there. And oodles at Forever 21. And H&M. And everywhere else. Will I succeed at being good in February and March and the first 3 weeks of April? Probably unlikely with all the new collections coming out!)

How did you do this month?
