Nicole by OPI - Mi Fantasía

Do you ever find a polish in a store that catches your eye, but part of you thinks you already have something similar, and you just can't remember if that's true? So you buy it anyway? And then when you put it on you remember that yeah, you DO have something similar, and you don't even LIKE it?

That was me this weekend. Sigh.

I found a clearance bin in a drugstore with some of the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez collection inside, marked down to $3.99.
Naturally, you do not pass up glitters that are marked down to 1/3 of the retail price... Right?

Nicole by OPI - Mi Fantasía
This is a glitter topper in a clear base that is full of small glitter and tiny bar glitter.

I was holding this one in my hands for a while, pondering my polish stash, trying to think of a dupe. Nothing came to mind. But I should have listened to my gut feeling and put it back down.

The composition of this glitter is very similar to China Glaze - Marry A Millionaire, which I liked at first but do not like anymore, and I like this even less because at least the other one is purple.

I mean... It's fine... But I just don't love it.

Mi Fantasía. No me gusta.

OH, here's what I layered it over:

OPI - I Saw...U Saw...We Saw...Warsaw

Longest name ever but it makes me laugh. The polish however does NOT make me laugh because it should really be called "Blue Cuticles." Sooooooo hard to clean up. Bleh. But a nice color... However I probably won't use it again due to the cuticle staining!

This post was blehhhhh. Sorry!

  1. TOTALLY happens to me as well, buying something without realising I have something similar and I don't even like that.
(I do like Marry a Millionaire though!)
