Animeniac Cosmetics is a line of indie polishes, influenced by anime, manga, comics, gaming, and sci-fi. Something for the nerd in all of us! They sent me four polishes to try out (including an early exclusive!) and I'm happy to be sharing them with you today!
Animeniac polishes are free of formaldehyde, toluene, and dibutyl phthalate, and only use ingredients that have never been tested on animals.
Animeniac Cosmetics - S.H.I.P (over Color Club - Bright Night)
This is from the Anime Fandom collection. It's a clear base with lots of pretty pastel-colored glitters in different shapes and sizes. A really nice mix! This is two thin coats, the glitter is a good density and spreads easily. I really like this one!
Animeniac Cosmetics - Late Night Reading (over Color Club - Evolution)
This is from the Status Update collection. Different shapes and sizes of blue glitter, some white glitter, and cute silver holo moons! I don't have any other polishes with moon glitter, so I like these a lot. I did have to fish for them to come out, but not too much.
Shown is two coats of glitter (plus fishing for the moons.) Cute!
Animeniac Cosmetics - Jolted (over Color Club - Abyss)
This one is from the High Voltage Gaming collection. Different sizes of gold glitter including big holo hexes that really sparkle! This is one coat, plus I fished out a couple big glitters to fill some gaps.
Animeniac Cosmetics - Chibi (over Color Club - Endless)
This is currently a Rebecca Likes Nails exclusive! Haha! This polish is not yet released, it will be a part of the spring collection. Squares and hexes in nice pastel shades. And this is just one coat! Totally glitter packed. This one is my favorite!! It's so pretty, especially over the pink. However I'm pretty sure it would be nice over anything.
I was playing around with the white balance on my camera and got this cool shot of the polish:
I'm impressed with my experience with Animeniac.
This brand has lots of nice polishes with fun inspirations that make the polishes even more special. Also, I really like their store's website, it is easy to navigate and easy on the eyes.
Animeniac Cosmetics polishes retail for $12 and they ship within the US and Canada.
