frustratingly neon dots

Why are these dots frustratingly neon? Because they just don't look right on camera.

This manicure looked so freakin' cool in person but then my camera said no. Nooooo.
"No, I will not show the difference between two of the colors you used and I will make them look falsely similar."

The base color is China Glaze - Flirty Tankini.
The purple dot color is China Glaze - Beach Cruise-r.
Now, if you have those colors, you know they are very different. But on camera? No.
The blue dots are China Glaze - Splish Splash.

This manicure made me so mad that I redid it again with different colors so that I could capture it correctly.

So cute. But so frustrating.

  1. I love this! The colors are great!

  2. great colours!love it.I wish I could buy China Glaze here in Croatia :)

  3. it looks cute anyway! omg i cant believe u did it twice hehe

  4. Man I wish I could get me some neon polishes !

  5. Oh wow that looks amazing, I'm sure it looked even better in real life! What a great idea too, you did a great job on it! :)

  6. I love it! Even if it doesn't look true on the computer... I still love it! I've actually been in love with all of your neon posts! Keep them coming! :)

  7. This is great, especially the matte version

    1. LOL half my sentence disappeared! I meant that I especially think it'd look great as a matte version!

  8. So cute!

I understand how frustrating it is when the colours don't show up properly on camera though! I did a tape mani recently with Beach Cruise-r and Hang-Ten Toes. IRL they're really different but when I photographed them they looked exactly the same! Sad.

  9. Aw, I have had some frustrating times with colors not looking right in pictures.
I'm sure this looked great IRL.

  10. Cute! I still love the colors even though they're frustrating!

  11. It looks here already very nice! I did also a nailart with dots today but I still have to post it.

  12. I wish you had a pin button. It would make pinning sooooo much easier.
