Lush Lacquer - Slumber Party

Heeeeey guys! How are you all? Hope your new year is off to a great start.

Today I'll be showing you the manicure I am currently wearing! I like it when this happens. It usually means I am wearing something great because I can't wait to show it and I post it right away!

(Also I just realized it matches my new blog layout!!!)

Lush Lacquer - Slumber Party
This cute glitter polish was a Christmas gift to me from the beautimous Sarah of Chalkboard Nails. I got it in the mail this week and had to wear it ASAP!

You might notice some wrinkles in the polish... I applied my topcoat too forcefully I think. Haha. Whoops.

Something else strange did happen though...

Adding Slumber Party changed the color of the polish underneath! As you can see I am apparently not careful when it comes to applying glitter topcoats and I missed the sides of some nails. And the color is totally different! Soooooo so so weird.
Not sure which is to blame - the base color, the glitter, or the topcoat? (Although I don't think it is the topcoat because I think that made it all the way to the edge.)
Either way I don't care because it is cute as hell.

The base color is a new Etude House polish I got from my friend Kim in Singapore!
I included an inset of the label in the above picture because I'm not sure which number would be the name... BL505? M26D1? VIP Girl? I don't know!
Either way, it is a pretty lavender and the formula is fantastic. Almost a one-coater!

I've enjoyed wearing this manicure for the past couple of days and I look forward to trying Slumber Party over some more colors because it's just so darn cute and very "me."

Thanks again to Sarah and Kim for making this manicure possible! :)
I love wearing manicures with polishes from friends. Makes me feel all special. D'awwwww.
