Christmas Zebra!

Hi everyone! I have a special Christmas-themed post for you today.

Myself and two of my best polish friends - Kayla from Nails by Kayla Shevonne and Sarah from Chalkboard Nails - decided to do some Christmas themed nails.
But not just any Christmas nails. Animal print Christmas nails. Yes.

As if the three of us don't do enough animal print, we are now doing it in Christmas colors.
We decided to use only red white and green, Kayla chose leopard print, I chose zebra, and because we took the two popular animals, Sarah went creative and did snakeskin.

Ready to see my Christmas zebra print?

Tada! I'm delighted with how this turned out.

To create this look, I painted my nails white with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Whirlwind White, and then I stamped from Konad m57 onto the white with a very light gray franken. This was just to create an outline for where I would be filling in the stripes with red and green.

Using two of the eBay 2-Way Nail Art Pens I began painting over the stripes. The stripers from eBay have a tinted base + glitter, but the glitter wasn't quite dense enough. I added more red and green glitter using Color Club - Object of Envy and Color Club - Art of Seduction - both of these are glitter in a clear base.

Two coats of Seche Vite to even out the surface and it's done!

These are the first Christmas nails I have done this year and I love how festive they are!

Now that you have seen all three of our Christmas animal prints - which one is your favorite? Will you be rocking Christmas animal prints?

Have a lovely day!
