Nicole by OPI - Kendall On The Katwalk

Sometimes the world likes to help me pretend I am a really good photographer.
The world helped me with this last week as I was photographing this manicure.
The sun came out, no clouds, shining directly into my window. And I got some beautiful shots of this beautiful polish!

Nicole by OPI - Kendall On The Katwalk
(with an accent of Orly - Here Comes Trouble)
Is that picture blowing your mind the way it blows mine? Haha!

This polish is stunning. I have a few from the Kardashian Kolors and all of them were let downs except for this gem. It's a blue jelly base packed with blue, green, and purple glitter.
I love when glitter polishes have a slightly tinted base - just enough to cover any gaps between pieces of glitter but not enough to drown out the glitter.
This polish is just perfect and you can rest assured it will be on my top 10 list at the end of the year. I'm in love! (Wait... did these release in 2011 or 2012? It's going on the list anyway.)

Enlarge that baby. See all the colors?

My accent nail was sort of a "happy accident."
I wanted to have a full nail in green, just to spice it up a little, but for some reason, the very outside edge of the nail didn't dry. I have no idea why. I scraped off the part that didn't dry.

I didn't want to fill it in with the Orly because it would need a few coats. So I filled in the edge with the Nicole. And then I took it out across the tip. And then I blended it down diagonally into the nail. And it turned out beautiful!
I'm so glad this happy accident happened.

I bought this NOPI in a blogsale and I am so delighted that I did. (It ended up being available here after but I still managed to snag it for cheaper than if I had picked it up in-store. NOPI prices suck in Canada especially.)

If you don't have this, go get it. I might need to find a second bottle.

Mmmmmmmmm.

It's too awesome. I have no more words! Just go get this. You won't regret it!

  4. Even though I'm usually crazy for glitter AND blue, I've seen KoK in pics and in person and it just doesn't do anything for me. Despite this, your pictures and accent nail are gorgeous!

  17. That is such an awesome color combo! I find glitters to be too much of a pain in the butt to remove so I rarely wear them, but I do love to see them on other people.
