crack addict

Okay, it's been a few days, here is some more crackle!
Tomorrow my Sally's is supposed to restock their crackles, I really hope I can get the other 3 I want!

I love these. Crackle just doesn't stop amusing me.

I still have so many combo ideas!

This is China Glaze Broken Hearted over Entourage.
I wish I had a brighter green, though. Like the green from Poolside.
I'm thinking about buying the whole Poolside collection on eBay. It works out to the same price as if I had bought them at Sally's in the first place, so it's not too bad.

Speaking of eBay, yesterday I bought Color Club Fashion Addict to fill my Catwalk Queen set!
And because shipping on each additional item was only 99 cents, I also bought Worth The Risque.
It was $14 for both. Not bad.
I don't have any linear holos, I hope these aren't duds!

  1. The whole poolside collection is available on 8ty8 beauty's website. And if I'm not wrong it's cheaper than what you would pay for it elsewhere. I normally buy from head2toe because I live on the other side of the world. 8ty8 is cheaper by the bottle but I'm going to try out their international shipping soon. :)

  3. i'm still a newbie, but what is a linear holo? Would OPIs Not Like the Movies fit into that category?

How big your collection? It has to be getting huge!! :o)

  4. kalyje - i'm a little nervous to order on 8ty8, their charges to canada don't get calculated until after you check out. i'd want to know the prices first! plus it is probably crazy shipping.

    natalie - thank you :)

jess - a liner holo would be a holo polish that actually has the full rainbow effect. google Nfu-Oh 61 or Gosh Holographic. That sort of thing!
A scattered holo would be something that has holo particles, but doesn't give the linear pattern. Lots of glitters have scattered holo - Teenage Dream for example has it.
And yeah, my collection is really big. I wouldn't say huge because I've seen some ridiculously huge ones, but mine is pretty good!
I want to do a collection post sometime but I'm not sure how many people would be interested. Hah!

  10. You were right! 8ty8 has got some funny international shipping rates (I e-mailed them for quotes). I did some calculations (lol!) and head2toe is cheaper with shipping even though 8ty8 is cheaper per bottle. Head2toe also has a shipping rate calculator before payment and I saw something about a shipping option to Canada. You should really check it out at least. I buy from them and I have no problems at all(shipping all the way to South-East Asia!!!!). I just recieved my crackles today from them in fact, so excite!

P.S. I'm not associated with them in anyway (except being a really satisfied customer), I just hate to see anyone pay more than what they need for a product, because of retail mark-ups. :D

  11. Have you ever used crackle the next day after using SV? I did that today and it did not work at all. Barely cracked. :(

  12. nope, never done that. however i have heard before not to use it over SV! something about the surface being too smooth.
